This week, all classes have the same assignment. You will be completing a Problem of the Week. Remember to write up a COMPLETE solution before Friday. This is your only homework this week. Math 6 Honors will end the week with a quiz, but no other classes have quizzes.
Please make sure you check Q for missing work, I still have a ton of no name papers that need to be claimed. This Week

Happy Monday! Testing is over and Summer is in sight. We are still covering some really good material in the upcoming weeks and there is still plenty of time to improve those grades. Please make sure you check Q for missing work, I have a ton of no name papers that need to be claimed. Grades are (for the most part) up to date. There will be more assessments and assignments before final grades so make sure to stay on top of your work.

Testing week this week! Our first day of testing was a doozy. I'm tired and I didn't have to take the test. I have no doubt that you guys all did awesome and I'm really proud of you for all of the hard work you put into the test today and each day leading up to this test. Remember that you are more than a test score and don't put too much pressure on yourself!
That said, your only homework this week is to get lots of rest, play outside, eat healthy, and go out of your way to do something kind for someone each day. That's a lot so you better get to work! Homework and Reminders

In light of state testing next week, this will be a light week. All of my classes will be diving right into statistics and probability. I have opted to take a project-based approach to these concepts and each day will consist of an activity in which we explore the different ways we display and analyze data. 7th graders will take this exploration one step further to include probability and we will be analyzing different games of chance. No tests or quizzes this week. HOMEWORK: Math 7 Just like last week, you are taking home a problem-solving worksheet. Remember that I am grading these more for effort. I will be giving pointers on three problems each day to give you a little boost. Math 6 Honors This week, you are taking home a problem-solving worksheet and you WILL NOT have a MathXL assignment. Remember that I am grading these more for effort. I will be giving pointers on three problems each day to give you a little boost. Math 6 Your only homework is MathXL. ALL OF THESE ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE ON FRIDAY. |
