TODAY IN MATH 7, we finished preparing for the Comparing and Scaling test. You are taking home the review packet for homework. Please make sure you go through all of the topics and practice those that you need to work on the most. You will have a new MathXL assignment later this week. Quiz/Test Next Week
10/27/2017
MATH 6: As we get ready for next week, I want to take the time to remind you that our investigation 2 quiz is scheduled for Monday and this upcoming week will be your last chance to retake the Prime Time test. Please remember to take the time to come see me and study the material if you need help preparing. I will happily dedicate a lunch to tutoring or meet with you during after school homework help, but you need to remember to take the time to come see me. Have a wonderful weekend!
MATH 7: We are officially wrapping up Comparing and Scaling this week and we will start the test on Tuesday. We spent today reviewing Constant of Proportionality, graphing, and writing equations. On Monday, we will continue to review these concepts plus everything else that you will see on the test. Please make sure you come in Monday ready to do a lot of math. The more math we accomplish during our review time, the more prepared you will be for the test. Again, next week is your last chance for retakes on Accentuate the Negative. Please check your grades this weekend. Gummy Worms (6th) and Percents (7th)
10/25/2017
TODAY IN MATH 6, we continued to talk about sharing gummy worms as we navigated through lesson 2.2. While this is a short investigation (only 3 lessons), these are huge concepts and we really don't want to rush. I am postponing the quiz until early next week and I will have a definite date by Friday.
HOMEWORK: only two more nights to work on your MathXL (due Friday). TODAY IN MATH 7, we continued to work on percents. You should now have a few different strategies for finding percents and finding quantities given the percent. The unit test is coming up next week! HOMEWORK: only two more nights to work on your MathXL (due Friday). RETAKE TESTS
10/23/2017
Just a quick reminder: the deadline to retake tests this trimester is November 3. Please do not wait until the last minute. You don't want to bank on taking a test the last day possible. I am strongly encouraging students to check their grades THIS WEEK and take care of any missing or make-up work by Friday.

Have a great weekend! Enjoy not having any homework! Partner Quiz Tomorrow
10/19/2017
